Sorry in advance if this is in the wrong spot, I wasn’t sure where to ask about game-specific support.
I’ve been trying for awhile to get Nights: Journey of Dreams’ Weather Link feature up and running for use in its A-Life minigame, but i’ve been running into trouble on both real hardware (the original Wii) and Dolphin. I’ve accounted for the following already:
I couldn’t find any other forum posts on the subject.
My DNS is properly set and I agreed to the Wiilink EULA. Other Wiilink services work properly.
On real hardware the game cannot connect to WFC and spits out a 20100 error code. Dolphin does connect to WFC, but it still doesn’t recieve the forecast data even when the game is launched from the emulated wii menu.
I am using a hotspot to connect on console.
The Forecast Channel is working properly.
I am running a real disc on the Wii. The disc has no scratches or grime.
The clock is synchronized correctly.
I can provide more information if needed, I just don’t want to bloat the initial post. Any advice or info? Thank you.
