U have to let your wii in standby or be in sysmenu long enough.

And receiving mails from other wii consoles don’t work either? Does sending work to mail other other console work? If only receiving doesn’t work maybe try clearing mailbox with WiiLink File clearer: WiiLink File Clearer - Open Shop Channel

You can receive email from your Wii, but not from your email address.

If sending works but not receiving u can try using wiilink file clearer to clear the mailbox.

I’ve already cleared my mailbox but that didn’t fix the problem.
