Can you try running a connection test in the Wii’s internet settings and tell me if that works?
your router is probably incompatible but do you also get it in the internet settings (System Settings > Internet)?
So this happens to me every now and then on pretty much all of the channels (On my wii u) i exit and wait a couple of minutes and then re enter the channel and it should work
