How to configure Wii that was already set up for RiiConnect24 (Error codes 117404, 117410, 109026)

Howdy! I recently hooked up a Wii that I haven’t used in a couple years. I had previously hacked that Wii and set it up with RiiConnect24, but I came to find out that RiiConnect24 has merged with WiiLink. I was hoping that my apps would still Just Work :tm:, but I’m getting some errors: 117404 on the Forecast Channel, 117410 on the News Channel, and 109026 on the Check Mii Out Channel (when I try to set up Wii Message Board messages). The Everybody Votes Channel seems to be working fine though, and for troubleshooting purposes, I’ve confirmed that the internet test was successful. (I’m using a wired connection currently.)

So I thought I would follow the guide to re-set-up everything, but I wasn’t sure how to do that. Should I uninstall all the system channels I have installed, or just the ones that aren’t working? And what software do you recommend for uninstalling those channels, if that’s what I should do? Thanks for your help!

Because channels often get updates, just install the wiilink patcher and get the patched wads, then install htem.

Follow it from the beginning, so u did every step.

Please don’t uninstall existing channels, it is almost always unnecessary and can sometimes lead to the accidental deletion of IOSes. Instead, I recommend following our update guide at WiiLink - Guide (Updating WiiLink) , and using the “Express Setup” option in the patcher to get new WADs for all channels.
