Is patching rtc clock time necessary?

U should path the rtc clock time of your Wii. Wiilink.ca doesn’t show it.

Also, will it destroy my MKW Competition Patches?

So the rtc clock app just sets your Wii’s clock exactly to the real time. If you don’t have any problems, then it’s not necessary.

This is only necessary if you receive 000006 errors, this should be better clarified on wii.hacks.guide.
