I already used the Wiilink Message Board Patcher on my vWii. But there seem to be several things that don’t work. The main issue is there any way to send images on the vWii? When I select an image, it doesn’t show any option to send it. Also, while it’s not as big of an issue, I can’t register a phone number: only emails and wii numbers. How would I be able to do these things? The phone number isn’t a huge deal, but I really want to be able to send images to wii friends.
Since wii u doesnt have a photo channel i dont think it would work
You can still get the photochannel on a modded vWii, but since the vWii menu is different, the button to send a photo isn’t there.
And I think it was never possible to register a phone number.
yeah you can only use email or wii friend code
Phone number is possible with a carrier email gateway, however that is subject to if the number you want to send to supports that. Most major North American telecom companies have discontinued their gateway.
I’m not sure why, but I think that the message board itself doesn’t seem to work. I can register Wii Friends and Emails, but they never send confirmation messages. I’ve tried using my own Email but it never sends the confirmation.
