It is better than Super Mario Kart.
Recently, I learned that a Wii U NAND is accessible to Dolphin, which can be used to play MkWii online through Wiimmfi. In my childhood, I yearned to play online due to the shutdown as I wanted to show off my “hardcore skills” to others online.
11 years later, I learned how to finally go online! Although… this game isn’t as easy as I thought it was. Constantly getting bashed into a wall, knocked off the map, hit by enemies over and over, and everyone having a better sense of game sense than me is staggering.
I somehow reached the 6000-7000 VR range through doing decent in my race placements with the Mii + Mach Runner - not meta, I know. I think if I learn my timing and map layouts enough, I’ll be getting higher placements in my races.
Either way, I’m having so much fun!
Yeah, MKWii online is pretty rough as the majority of people who play it these days are sweats on the funky kong meta. It’s kind of a shame, but this is what happens when you shut down online servers, leaving only the core sweats who are willing to go out of their way to play the game online again.

Yes, the MKWii online is very rough, but at the end its a fun game.
I dont like it online because people are so good if you want to join its impossible
I lost my copy of Mario Kart Wii a long time ago but I still have my data for the game which is good I just need a copy of Mario Kart Wii.
