Hi! I’m having an issue with the News Channel. I’m using WiiLink24 on a Wii 4.3U. The Wii connects to the internet correctly, WiiLink Mail is working, and the News Channel banner on the Wii Menu displays news normally. However, when I open the News Channel, it gets stuck indefinitely on “Downloading… This may take a few moments.”
I already tested it using two different internet connections, including a phone hotspot, and the problem happens on both. I also recently replaced the Wii’s CR2032 battery and manually set the correct date and time, but the problem remains.
Could you please tell me what you recommend checking next?
