I think around 2017 or 2018. I was searching YouTube for “Forecast Channel in 2018 (or 2017)” and I found about RiiConnect24.

My Wii wasn’t even connected to the internet in 2017 I connected my Wii to the internet in Late 2023 and realizing that I missed out on the Shop Channel closure and not knowing about it as a kid.

I first modded my Wii around 3 years ago, but I have wanted to mod my Wii ever since I saw videos of the Homebrew Channel on YouTube when I was a lot younger.

As a child I didn’t yearn for the mines but I was completely unaware of homebrew and modding all I cared about was having friends over and playing Wii Party for 3-5 hours.
